Bios

Robert Slavin, Ph.D, is the Chairman of the Success for All Foundation and Co-Director of the Center for Research on the Education of Students Placed at Risk at Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Slavin is, with Nancy Madden, the driving force behind Success for All's creation and ongoing research. He is the author or co-author of 21 books and more than 200 articles on such topics as cooperative learning, school organization, and effective programs for students at risk. Nancy A. Madden, Ph.D, is the President of the Success for All Foundation. With Robert Slavin, she is a co-creator of Success for All, and leads the continual development of the Success for All Foundation's curricula, training model, and organization.
