Any public, charter, parochial, and independent elementary school with a Title I designation (i.e., 40% of students receive free and/or reduced meals) is eligible to receive a School Success Scholarship!
Scholarship awards will be announced on a rolling basis.
Schools who participate in SFA and successfully implement its components can expect incredible transformation in their school culture and student performance. Specifically, they can expect to increase school attendance (SFA schools average a 92% attendance rate) and significantly increase the number of students reading at or above grade level (one of our schools experienced a 33% increase in the percentage of students scoring at or above proficiency in reading–moving from 11% at or above grade level to 44%).
To ensure school leaders, teachers, students, and their families achieve the highest level of success, we’re using a phased approach for Success for All (SFA) implementation. Here’s a general overview of the implementation timeline:
A dedicated coach is provided to every SFA school to provide high-quality implementation training for all SFA components, build capacity to assess student performance, identify and implement necessary adjustments, and provide on-going support on the implementation of effective instructional practices.
Apart from the days when coaches work onsite to deliver training and support to leaders and instructional teams, SFA coaches are available to support school leaders and teams in a virtual capacity everyday! Here’s a general breakdown of what the onsite support will look like over the course of the scholarship award:
The scholarship award will total $100,000 and will be distributed to schools based on their training and materials shipment schedule. Schools will receive partial distribution for capacity building; remaining funds will be distributed to support the first full year of implementation.
Each school’s and/or district’s financial contribution will vary depending on a number of factors including school size, location, and materials needed. Some schools may not need to contribute additional funds, others may. Once you complete our application form, we’ll have a clearer picture of what the cost could look like for your school.
2. One of our coaches will contact you to gather additional details about your school and wonderful students, answer your questions about SFA, and share more information about next steps.
In the meantime, if you have questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at: knovotny@successforall.org.
Congratulations on taking the first step towards exciting growth and success for your school!
Scholarships are available for schools to participate in a gradual implementation of Success for All.
