The Success for All Model

Most literacy programs tell you what to teach. Success for All also provides the structures, tools, and support that make great teaching happen schoolwide.

More than a curriculum.
A system designed to fill every crack.

You've probably seen this before: a school adopts a strong literacy curriculum, trains teachers, launches with energy — and still ends up with classrooms where instruction looks different from one room to the next, students who need help not getting it early enough, and gains that plateau before they reach the students who need them most.

What's missing is everything built around the curriculum: the structures, routines, coaching, and support systems that make strong instruction consistent, responsive, and sustainable across the whole school.

That's what Success for All is. A complete literacy system that anticipates every crack a child might fall through, and fills it before that happens.

Why Success for All works when curriculum alone doesn’t.

Success for All is built on three sciences and most literacy approaches only address one.

Reading science

Tells us how children learn to decode, comprehend, and develop as readers.

Learning science

Tells us how students actually retain new skills — which is why SFA's lessons aren't about passive delivery, but active reading, writing, discussing, and practicing every day.

Implementation science

Tells us how to turn good instruction into consistent daily practice across every classroom.

Success for All built all three sciences into one integrated system.

The components — and what each one does.

Every component of Success for All was designed to address a specific place where children fall behind — and together, they form a system with no gaps.

Science of reading curriculum: Pre-K through adolescence

A single coherent instructional pathway — from Curiosity Corner (Pre-K) through Reading Edge (adolescence) — where every skill builds on the one before it and every grade connects to the next.

A proven instructional process

A clear, evidence-based framework that gives every teacher — regardless of experience — what they need to deliver strong literacy instruction every day.

Cooperative learning

Structured partner and team learning woven into every lesson — not a supplement to instruction, but how instruction works.

Getting Along Together

Builds the executive functioning and interpersonal skills that make learning possible, schoolwide, from the earliest grades.

Assessment every 8 weeks and flexible regrouping

Every 8 weeks, schools know exactly where every student stands. That data drives flexible regrouping — so no child waits until the end of the year to get what they need now.

Tutoring aligned to classroom instruction

Daily support tied directly to what students are learning in class — not a separate intervention running on a different track.

Schoolwide teams and leadership structures

The distributed leadership structures that keep the whole system moving — monitoring data, solving problems early, building capacity at every level.

A dedicated SFA coach

A real person who knows your school, works alongside your leaders and teachers, and makes sure the system is working in every classroom, every day.
